Chris as been the pastor of Salem Magley Church since December of 2017. He is an Adams County native, graduating from Adams Central High School before attending Huntington University. It was during college that his passion for the local church was ignited. This passion led Chris to change his major to Biblical and Religious Studies, and it eventually led him to seminary. Chris graduated from Denver Seminary in May of 2017 earning a Master of Divinity (MDiv.). While Colorado was beautiful, it didn't feel like home; the charm of the Midwest was too strong. Chris and his wife Megan moved home in July 2017, and they are excited to dig deep roots in northeastern Indiana.

Chris and Megan met while working as Resident Assistants at Huntington University and were married in December of 2013. They have four living children, Annette (6), Abraham (4),  Castiel (2), and Seamus (Infant), and three children who are resting with Jesus: Darcy, Liesl, and Theodore. They also have two cats, Winnie and Scottie, and a dog named Atlas. Their life can feel a bit out of control and crazy at times, but they wouldn't have it any other way.
